YOSEMITE / PT. 3
The final part of the trip. Overall the weather was perfect, the hikes were interesting but not too challenging, and the people were fun. Hopefully another trip is in the not-so-far future.
Some more pics of the Yosemite trip from last weekend. This post focuses on the waterfalls Yosemite Falls and Vernal Falls, a more secluded waterfall which could only be seen after a short (1.5 mile) hike up admittedly pretty steep terrain. One section called "Mist Trail" was particularly tricky given the constant spray making all of the steep rocks quite slippery. Anywho, here's the pics!
Just a vid I threw together from the trip.
This past weekend I was fortunate enough to go on a trip to Yosemite. I haven't been here in probably a decade, so revisiting with a large group of friends was definitely one of the biggest highlights so far this year. The weather was perfect, we did plenty of hiking, and despite being worn out when we got back, I just want to be outdoors more than ever. Ok, less chatting, more pics!
Ok, I think by now you get the idea of what this place is like. I'll hold off from posting much else from this amazing open space, but stay in tune for this upcoming weekend's travels in a certain world-renowned valley...
I've encountered this little 410 a couple times already and each time I can't help but admire how great this little wagon is. Like the VW Squareback, it carries some charm that no wagon (or hatchbacks as it'd be marketed) today can pull off.
As the days are becoming longer and warmer, I'm trying to get out more often and become more active. Fortunately I'm blessed to have beautiful trails like this within a 15 min drive from my apartment. Really hard not to stop and appreciate how wonderful CA is.
